Yuba-Sutter Resources

Sometimes we all need some extra support. Here are many of the resources available in the Yuba-Sutter area. Please check out each website for information on how to access help from each organization.

Please note: This is not a complete list of all the local and state resources that are available. Please contact your county offices if you don't see the help you need on this page.

Material Needs (Food, Clothing, Diapers, etc)

The Food Bank has many resources available and is a great starting point for finding help with food.

The Homebound Food Delivery Program nourishes low-income seniors(60 years of age or older). The program is tailored to help reduce food insecurity by providing shelf stable foods along with bakery items on the first full Tuesday of each month.

A USDA program that works to improve the health of low-income seniors 60 years of age and older by supplementing their diets with nutritious foods. The Food Bank distributes 30- pound food boxes containing canned and packaged food including vegetables, fruit juice, pasta, milk, cereal, canned meat, and nonmeat protein.

Yuba-Sutter Food Bank provides monthly emergency food to low-income households at more than 20 locations, including the public distribution sites. To qualify for this program, individuals must self-certify that they meet income guidelines that have been determined by the State of California. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul assists those in need with food, clothing, rent and utility bills, furniture, household goods, etc.
